BOO

DSH Black and White Tuxedo, Female

DOB 8/09
Boo is such a funny and comical girl, and she has this dramatic face with super long whiskers! And what a sweetheart! Boo was rescued from a high kill shelter as a kitten, but because she was shy, no one was willing to take a chance on her. We’ve had her for over two years, and she is just wonderful! Boo adores other cats and gets along with every one she meets. She’s all about fitting in and finding her place. She is playful and adores stairs! She runs up and down the stairs in her foster home, and she finds it loads of fun to leap the last three steps and land in the middle of the floor. She loves toys and treats, and she thinks it’s just fabulous that she gets some canned food every day. One thing that makes Boo special is her cuddling skills. You have never been cuddled until you’ve been cuddled by Boo. At night, her mission is to become one with you. If that means draping herself across your neck, then that’s what she’ll do. If it means sleeping cheek to cheek, well hey! That’s just perfect. Boo is dedicated to seeing if just maybe she can fit inside your skin with you. But, she’s always gentle about it. Boo is still a little shy, and will need someone who is patient and kind. That patience will be greatly rewarded! If you are looking for a cat that can be a friend, a confidant, and an entertainer, Boo is your girl. Surely it is her turn to find a forever home. She’s been waiting for awhile now watching other kitties come and go, and her little heart doesn’t understand why it’s never her. We promise, Boo! There is someone out there for you!

HANA

DLH, Black, Female

DOB: 5/2006
Hana is a loyal and loving kitty and will lie on your lap, sleep on your pillow, fuss at you when you are late with her food, and be your best friend! She's very comical and likes to talk with you about everything! Usually, it's a commentary on the quality and quantity of her food, but occasionally she will express her opinions on world events, global warming and the high price of kitty litter.
Hana was rescued from a high-kill shelter only days after having 4 beautiful kittens. She lovingly raised her kittens and is now ready for a new life. She's not fond of other cats but as long as she has some space of her own, she is fine. She's currently living with 3 other cats and 2 dogs and escapes to the bedroom when the others annoy her too much. She does not do well under stress and does not show how wonderful she is when she's not at home, which is why she has been with Purr Partners for over a year now.
We are hoping someone with a big heart and a quiet home will give this sweet girl a chance. She will return the love 100 times over! Adoption Fee: $30 - We just want a good home for this sweet girl!

CONRAD

Grey and White Tuxedo, Male

DOB 2/14/07
Conrad is a loving, quiet and gentle boy who loves to be petted. In fact, if you stop he will gently raise a paw and reach out to touch you. It's like he's saying "Don't stop, I'm not done yet". Conrad has been around dogs and does just fine with them. He is looking for a quiet, loving home where he is the only male cat. Depending on the area, he may qualify for an indoor/outdoor environment.

YODEL

DSH Gray and White, Male

DOB 4/12/11
Okay, who can Yodel? This boy can if there’s something he wants, and what he usually wants is to play! When he first was rescued from a high kill shelter, he had never been held. He didn’t understand it, and it scared him, so he would yodel! Now, he totally understands about gentle hands, voices that say sweet things, and kisses that make him know he is loved. It didn’t take him long to figure out that he just adores being kissed, and he makes a dash for you every time he sees you. He purrs as loud as he can just so you’ll know he thinks you’re special. He is great with other animals, and he’s tons of fun to watch and play with. He’s athletic and fast, and he thinks toys that he can chase are da bomb! You won’t ever meet a little boy with a sweeter nature who will be sure to make you smile every time you lay eyes on him.

RAMONA

DSH Black and White, Female

DOB 4/1/11
Are you an active type who gets a little bored by lap cats? Then Ramona is the girl for you! She is almost too much cat for her body - athletic and fun and energetic. Even if she is lounging for a minute, she is up for a game of lazer chase, if you bring the lazer pointer out. She doesn't rough-house, but she will always find ways to entertain herself - and you! You really never know what you will find her doing: chasing her own tail, leaping in mid-air to catch a bug, or sleeping in the sink. She loves people and gets along wonderfully with everyone - she is great with kids and even dogs! Ramona is an extraordinary girl, and she is waiting for an extraordinary person to give her a home of her own.

VEGAS

DLH, Orange and White, Male

DOB 3/10/11
Vegas is such a sweet, sweet boy! He's very funny, playful, sweet, and wants desperately to be loved. He's got beautiful, soft, long fur and a bushy fox tail! He was adopted out with his sister Violet as a kitten, but then returned months later, through no fault of their own, when the people decided they didn't want cats after all. He took being given back to us harder than his sister, and used to hide UNDER Violet until she convinced him they were OK and in a safe place. He's becoming more and more brave every day and is starting to believe there might be a place he can live his life where people DO want him and will give him the love he deserves. He is a gentle soul, does not have a mean bone in his body, gets along great with other animals, and would be great with someone who is patient and willing to give him a chance. If you can give this sweet boy a forever home, he will return to you the love he so desperately wants to give his forever family.

CHEERIO

DMH Brown Tabby, Male

DOB 8/20/11
What a lover! He is a little shy at first but all you have to do is spoil him with love, attention, and maybe a little chicken and he will start to get really snuggly and cuddly! He loves to be rubbed and petted- on his time though. He likes the foster’s Chihuahua and he is good with children and other cats. Cheerio was rescued from a high kill shelter and while he was hesitant at first about so many new things, he is definitely getting the hang of living in a house and having lots of love, cool new toys, and a nice sunny window to look out of. He had no idea some kitties lived like this every day, and he is not taking any of it for granted. He is a fluffy, squeezable boy with beautiful topaz eyes and a loving heart. He just wants a home of his own with a future that is bright with love, care, safety, and a special person to call his own.

NEO

DMH Brown Tabby, Male

DOB 8/10/11
What a sweetie! He is a super loving boy and definitely comes out of his shell after he explores his new environment. He is a purr master and looooves to be rubbed and loved. He will come right up to you and snuggle! He is very loving to kittens and to dogs and loves his foster mom’s Chihuahua. Neo was rescued from a local high kill shelter, and he is discovering all kinds of new experiences. He is great with kids, other cats, and dogs, and his soft, fluffy coat just begs for brushing and rubbing. He is easy going and more than willing to fit in wherever he needs to. He knows he is a lucky boy, and he is not going to blow his good fortune. He promises to be your favorite snuggler and can’t wait to have a home of his own where kisses and cuddles are given freely. He’s hopeful that his time is near! Surely the new year will bring him that special kitty dream – a home of his own with a someone who loves him.

MAGNOLIA

DMH Brown Tabby, Female

DOB 7/1/11
Magnolia is all Southern Belle and sweet charmer! No, true Southern Belles aren't found living under a car in a hot parking lot in the dead of summer, but sometimes even the belle of the ball falls on hard times. Magnolia came to us as a tiny, dehydrated, emaciated ball of fluff, scared to death but also starving to death. She weighed less than a pound and was in bad shape. It took her system a long time to accept food, and so Magnolia has grown slowly. With the diligence of her foster mom to help her through hard times, Magnolia is now ready for a new home. She's a bit of coquette, and she'll play hard to get, but her true knight in shining armor won't give up easily because Magnolia is worth it. She will play on your heart strings, and even today, Magnolia believes in... food! She's still not completely sure she won't be abandoned again and have to eat bugs and grass, so she takes no chances. Magnolia is such a doll and adores other cats and is fine with dogs. She loves to play, and now that she has built her confidence, she is ready for her forever home. She wants companionship and someone to love, but children are probably too much for her. She is ready to be someone's forever girl, and she is one that will make a lifetime commitment. From a pitiful furball with little chance of survival to a gorgeous girl with high hopes, come be Magnolia's sweetheart. Sweet tea, grits, wisteria - and Magnolia - surely you'all want a little taste of the South!

JUBILEE

DSH Black and White, Female

DOB 11/14/11
Jubilee has a good reason to celebrate. She and her brother were rescued from the winter cold by a caring person, and now they are looking for a warm and loving home so they won’t ever have to be cold again. Jubilee is still just a little bit shy, but she loves playing with her kitten pals who have shown her how exciting toy mice, ping pong balls, and feathers can be. Jubilee is looking for someone who is patient and will help her learn how wonderful it is to cuddle in a lap and drift off to sleep.

JASMINE

Torti Point Siamese Cross, Female

DOB 8/10
Jasmine is a truly beautiful cat that is sweet and gentle but very shy and timid with people. She loves to be petted when she is in her bed, and she is slowly getting used to accepting lots of love and affection. Jasmine came into a local kill shelter in a trap as a young girl, and she has been with us for about a year now. In that year, she has made tremendous progress. She adores other cats and gets along great with them. She welcomes new fosters to her home, and sadly misses those that find their forever homes. We believe that at this point, Jasmine is ready to bond with someone. She will need time and patience and someone who is willing to love her and give her time to trust. She loves toys and playing, but she’s never had a real home of her own with someone who is HER special person. If you are a true cat person who understands that some cats just need some extra love and attention, then Jasmine will greatly reward you . Jasmine will not do well in a home with small children (over 12 please), And will do better with a quieter household. Dogs may be okay as long as they are gentle and non-threatening, and other cats would be great! Jasmine’s bright blue eyes are hopeful and her heart is anxious. She’s hoping that someone is looking just for her.

SWEETPEA

DSH Black and White Tuxedo, Female

DOB 1/10
She is a sweet petite little very much like a princess. She dips her paw into the water so she can daintily lick it off. She will purr when you look at her and if a cat can "make eyes" at somebody, Sweetpea does it when she is purring and happy. She has a calm disposition and enjoys sitting on top of a cat tree and observing the world around her. She likes to be petted and will purr as soon as you touch her and one of her special likes is to be kissed on the head. This is a very calm, special kitty that's happy to be alive – and the truth is, she almost wasn’t. She is playful and likes chasing a laser light. She will stop for a while, but after a little rest, she’s ready to go again. Everyone who meets this sweet girl is totally captivated by her gentle, very loving personality. She always see the glass half full – after all she made it out of a kill shelter so as far as she is concerned, it’s all good! Now, she wants to share her life and her dreams with someone who will love her forever. She is just waiting for that right person to take her home so life can mirror her kitty dreams!

ROCKETTE

Silver Tabby, Female

DOB 7/15/11
Rockette is a true lap kitty, and all she needs is a lap to call her own. She is a wonderfully sweet and loving kitten, and she shows how much love she has to offer by purring when you touch her. She is going to be someone's best friend and constant companion - she just needs a chance! Rockette loves toys and playing, and she is great with other cats. She is a little shy, but getting over it quickly. She would probably be better with older kids who are little more patient and quiet, but she desperately wants a family! She believes that there is someone for everyone, and her someone has just not come along yet. We also know that there is a home for every kitty, so we are quite sure someone out there is looking for this beautiful girl. She made it out of a high kill shelter - now she just has to make it into your heart - that will be easy: all you have to do is meet her.

MAHALO

DSH Black and White, Female

DOB 10/11
Aloha! My name is Mahalo. That means “thank you” in Hawaiian. And what I’m thankful right now is that I was chosen from the kill shelter where I was abandoned. I am a pretty girl with unique markings. Check out the cute black triangle on my nose. I'm still a kitten, so everything is interesting and just might be a new toy. Life has been tough, but it hasn't changed my personality. I am pretty much all about getting and giving love. I purr if you look at me, and I like to roll over and get belly rubs. Life is so good now, I make biscuits just because I’m so happy. I’m still getting over the trauma of the last month of my life, but things are definitely looking up, and all I need now is for that one special person to come along and know I’m the one for them! I am fine with other animals, and if you take a chance on me, I promise I won’t disappoint you. “Mahalo – in advance!”

TRICOT

DSH, Female

DOB 8/10
SPECIAL NEEDS: Tricot has only three legs – front has been amputated
Tricot is the ultimate lap cat! She is happiest if she is in your lap and she will cuddle as long as you let her. This sweet girl is a gentle soul whom life has not treated very well, but things are looking up. Her front leg had to be amputated because the break was so massive, but she is quickly learning how to get around. She likes to play, but she is shy and will need someone who will allow her to continue to discover that the world is a good place for kitties and that there are those who care. Tricot is looking for a home that will take into consideration her special needs, but there are no special accommodations that she requires. She would not do well in a busy household with kids and dogs, but is great with other cats. If you are in the market for a kitty that is ready to give her heart and who wants to cuddle with you as much as you will allow, then consider this sweet girl. She is special in so many ways, and she needs someone who is just as special. We know there is someone out there just for her because we believe that every kitty has a lap waiting somewhere.

HOPE

DSH Calico, Female

DOB 11/20/11
If you are looking for an active playful kitty, then Hope is the girl for you! She is a beautiful calico little girl and will grow into a beautiful cat. She is shy at first but then she starts to come around. She loves to play with her sister Harper, who is virtually her twin, and she is always up for a game of laser chase when you bring the laser pointer out. When she is tired she likes to take her afternoon nap and sprawl in the sun or in your lap. She likes dogs and other cats, and she is curious about ferrets and likes to play with them. She might not be sure what they are, but they look like playmates to her! She will always find ways to entertain herself - and you! Hope is an extraordinary girl, and she is waiting for an extraordinary person to give her a home of her own. Life didn't start out too good for this sweet girl, but we know it's going to have a happy ending. From a high kill shelter to a loving home - that's the happy ending we love to be a part of!

ROCCO

DSH Brown Tabby with White, Male

DOB 2/11
Okay, so I’ve gained a few pounds since I found a place where the living is large! When you’ve been on your own trying to find someone to let you stay for awhile, you learn to take advantage of every meal, and maybe, just maybe, I’ve helped myself to one too many food bowls. I am a lucky, lucky boy because I found someone that wouldn’t run me off and make me leave, and even though times have been tough, I’m ready to forgive and forget. I am definitely a lover not a fighter, and I LOVE people! My foster mom laughs because I stand up on my hind legs and reach for a hug. No matter what you do, as long as you hold me and give me some affection, I’m fine with it. Don’t let the secret out, but I’m a little bit of a wimp when it comes to other cats. I learned the hard way that it’s better to just get along with everybody and every other animal in the house, and that way you don’t have to worry about being forced to leave. I’m a low key kinda guy with a big heart for giving and receiving love, and I can promise that if I get a chance at a forever home, I’ll make the most of it – I’ll be entertaining with my toys (love me some catnip!), free with my hugs and kisses, accommodating with the other members of the family, and gentle and loving no matter what. Got room for a big guy? My heart has room for you!

DARBY

DSH Torti/Tabby/Tuxedo, Female

DOB 5/26/11
Darby is a cutie, a bit shy at first but definitely comes out of her shell after she explores her surroundings. She loves to play with her toy mouse and a game of smack and chase is always fun! Toys are great, but in the sunny afternoons, Darby stretches out by the door to watch the birds and wonder just how she might catch one of those very aggravating and tempting creatures. Darby loves belly rubs and doesn't mind asking nicely for more and more and more and more... well, she loves to have her belly rubbed - you get the idea! Darby was rescued from a local high kill shelter when her time was almost up, and ever since then, she's been determined to show her gratitude. Loving and affectionate, gentle and easy-going, Darby is very sure there is someone somewhere just for her. After all - she was lucky once: why not twice? Kitty daydreams of a forever home keep her spirits up and her heart hopeful. Darby is patient, and she is keeping the faith that very soon it will be her turn to go home to where she will live out her days as the much loved kitty of the household.

HARMONY

DSH Tabby, Female

DOB 5/13/11
My name is Harmony and I am a sweet and playful girl! I currently live with my foster family but one of the kids I live with is allergic to kitties so I am looking for my forever home. I get along with everyone I meet...even gentle dogs if you give me time! I will keep you laughing with all my energy and be your cuddle bug at the end of the day. Do you have room in your heart (and lap!) for a kitty like me?

CUPID

DSH Grey and White Tabby, Male

DOB 10/11
Cupid has earned his name because he is all about love! He is a shy boy, but once he gets in your lap, that’s where he wants to stay. Give him a soft lap and gentle petting and he is a happy boy. He also enjoys lounging in a sunny window, watching the squirrels and birds play, and sneaking in a snooze every now and then. Cupid loves to play and is interactive with other quiet kitties. And he has learned that the gentle dog in his foster home is not so scary after all! So watch out! Sweet Cupid has his arrow aimed at your heart! Are you going to be the one to fall in love with him?

HARPER

DSH Calico, Female

DOB 11/20/11
Harper and her sister Hope came from a rural high kill shelter where very few cats make it out. They came in dirty, hungry, scared, and pitiful to see, but as you can see, now Harper is a beautiful girl with a gorgeous coat and bright topaz eyes. What a difference love and care can make! Harper has learned to trust again, and she is waiting for someone to come along and help her continue her journey towards having the kind of life all kitties should have. Harper is playful and very affectionate. She is a little shy at first, but she loves human contact. Even when she was terrified, when you left the room, she would call for you with a chirp. She still wants all the attention you are willing to give, and she is more than happy to sit in your lap and be your lap warmer. Harper is great with other cats, fine with dogs, but would probably not do well with young children or in a busy household. Her story is definitely rags to riches, but she needs someone special to help her write the ending – “and they lived happily ever after!”

TWYLA

Seal Point Siamese, Female

DOB 7/09
SPECIAL NEEDS
Twyla was born the youngest of 9 kittens when we rescued her from a high-kill shelter in Franklin County. She was so tiny, we thought she wouldn't make it, but she has a will unlike no other! As a kitten, she would push her way to the food bowl through her 8 brothers and sisters with no apologies and the fervor of a little girl on a mission! She was so darling, she would stand on her hind legs and put her arms out for you to hold her - she was truly the sweetest, most lovable kitty. She is a seal-point Siamese and is the size of 6-month kitten, yet she is a full-grown adult!
Unfortunately, Twyla's size and living conditions before she was rescued was less than optimal for a small kitten and she has developed an irritable bowel condition and has an intolerance to fat, which causes her a lot of pain when she eats any food containing a lot of fat. This condition did not become chronic until she became an adult and the people that adopted her, while they did all they could, were unable to get her condition under control or even diagnosed correctly. For most of Sweet Twyla's life, she has been a VERY miserable kitty. When she was returned, she would scream in pain every time she ate, she was unable to control her bowels and would soil herself and everything around her. She was not friendly anymore, and she never purred or played. When the pain attacks hit, she could not even walk to the litter box and she was left with no other choice but to go where she was sitting at the time. There was no trace of that loving kitty that held out her arms so she could be held, and her future looked very bleak. Imagine living a life where every time you eat, you are in excruciating pain. You have to eat - yet the one thing that you crave so badly you know will put you in unbearable agony. How awful would that be?
Many would have said to put Twyla out of her misery, but we had known Twyla as a kitten and she is not a kitty to be given up on. She is a survivor and deserved to be given a chance. Through a highly restricted diet, Twyla is now able to eat her dinner, and then lay down and take a nap! There are no more screams of pain, there are no more excruciating cramps, she is able to make it to the litter box. She clearly looks and feels so much better! But like most people with chronic conditions, she has good days and bad days. At times, she appears to be uncomfortable after she eats and has a hard time getting to the litter box, but her bad days are getting further and further apart and we feel that in time it will only improve. She has had over 2 years of this condition being uncontrolled, but only 3 months of it under control, so it may take her little body more time to recover. She has learned to trust again, and loves to be held, and has even been spotted playing with a toy! She's becoming a lap kitty that loves to be kissed and hugged.
We feel Twyla is ready for her second life now and we are looking for her forever home. This home will have to be a very special place with a new family that is very strict and does not allow her to veer from her diet FOR ANY REASON, but is also very caring and patient. Twyla does not like other animals, but will tolerate them if they leave her alone or if she has a place in the house to call her own. She has lived with another cat and dogs at her first adopted home with no problem.
Twyla has had such a miserable life but is finally on her way to feeling better. Are you the special person to give this sweet, sweet girl the life she so desperately deserves?

COCONUT

DSH Chocolate Tabby, Male

DOB 2/10/12
Hi, my name is Coconut, I am a sweet boy who is very playful and curious. One of my favorite things to do is wrestle with my brother Camo and chase balls and twisted up pipe cleaners. I have also been told that I'm a big talker, but that's not a bad thing - I just have a lot to say! I get along great with other cats and kittens, and I believe in lots of things: playing, running, jumping, chasing things, giving kisses, cuddling, snuggling, and well, being a kitten! I was rescued from a high kill shelter along with my 7 brothers and sisters at 4 weeks old, but unfortunately, three of them were just too weak to make it. It's okay though because me and my brothers Chili and Camo and sisters Clawdia and Clover are all going strong. I keep telling all the kitties here at the house that they just have to keep their paws crossed, and then someone is bound to come along and make us their special kitties! You might think my coat is black, but it's not really - its brown! See, that makes me even more special! I'm knocking on your heart - please answer!

SINATRA

Seal Point Balinese, Male

DOB 7/11
Sinatra will mesmerize you with his beautiful blue eyes, and “Old Blue Eyes” will sing you to sleep at night. He only knows one song, but he will sing it just for you, and it is definitely a love song! Sinatra was rescued from a high kill shelter after being abandoned there, and then the shelter was closing, and Sinatra was on the dreaded “list.” How anybody could give up such a handsome and loving boy is a mystery, and we are so glad to have come along just in time. Sinatra is truly a love – very sweet, affectionate, and determined to convince everybody that he has a lot to offer. He is easy going, purrs constantly, and gets along with other cats. We guess he’ll be fine with gentle dogs based on his loving personality, and kids are fine. What a gorgeous boy! He just needs a second chance at a forever home.

FIJI

DSH Black, Male

DOB 2/13/12
Hi, I’m Fiji, and I’m a brave boy! I can kill scary dragons, (furry mice) with a single pounce! I can stand off fierce monsters (the family dog) with a horrifying hiss! I am a Force to be Reckoned With! Okay, well, maybe I’m just a tiny kitten that likes to pretend to be a big jungle tiger. What I really love is to play with my sister, Flirt, and cuddle with my people. I can purr real loud, too! I can climb and jump and run and there’s really nothing better than a good game of tag followed by a nap with sis and even better, a nap in a lap. I have heard (liars! liars!) these people I live with call me a Mama’s boy, but it’s not true! I’m big and tough and so what – everybody needs a cuddle ever now and then. I give kisses. Want one?

FLIRT

DSH Black, Female

DOB 2/13/12
Flirt is definitely a flirt, and she’ll make you laugh and want to scoop her up and hug her when she dances up to you and looks at you and gives a tiny “Meow!” She is as cute as a kitten can be, loving and with a personality that gets five stars! She was born to a mother from a high kill shelter, and so from day one, she has known loving human hands, soft voices, and all the care and concern she could want. Because of that, she adores people, is totally focused on laps and loving and kisses and playing! Flirt and her brother Fiji are hoping and hoping for a home of their own, and even some mean people try to tell them no one likes black kittens, they don’t believe it. What’s not to love?

FAITH

DSH Black and White Tuxedo, Female

DOB 6/2011
Faith certainly lives up to her name! She was rescued from a local high kill shelter with four babies. She was thin, scared, and very protective of her little ones. One of them didn’t make it, but her others are happy and healthy and looking for homes of their own, and now Faith is getting a chance to have a life as someone’s special girl. She is a very petite girl and looks like a kitten herself. She has a very loving and affectionate nature, loves to be petted and seeks out laps and belly rubs. Faith is wonderful with other cats, dogs, and kids. She is willing to fit in anywhere, and all she wants is a home of her own where her life will be what all kitties dream of. She is an easy going, gentle girl who will cuddle and snuggle with you every chance she gets. Faith still believes in dreams come true – and maybe they will for her

JILLY

Torti and White, Female

DOB 2010
Jilly came to us with 4 of the sweetest little boy babies, each one sporting one of the colors of her own fur. Jilly was especially attentive and loving to her babies, the hallmark of an experienced mother. But she now has earned the chance to find that special family who will fill her world with all the loving care that she gave to her babies. Jilly is a quiet and dignified lady who would love to share an easy chair or couch with her special person while they read a book or watch TV. She has a gentle voice and will purr softly when petted, which she hopes her person will be doing while they sit together. She loves soft music and a sunny window where she can watch the action in her yard. Jilly gets along just fine with other cats and would love to share her home with a gentle feline friend or two. If you’re looking for a laid back and gentle kitty, Jilly is ready to go home with you and begin her new life of leisure, laps, and love.

MOCHA

Seal Point Siamese, Male

DOB 2/11
Mocha has had a rough start in life, but now he’s certain that his luck is changing for the better. Mocha began life as the victim of a hoarding situation, and once he was “rescued” from that, he found himself at a high kill shelter. Talk about bad luck! He was rescued from there just in time, and now he’s looking for his forever home and family. Mocha is a little shy until he gets to know you, but after that he will rub and purr and roll over for belly rubs. He has so much love to give and really wants his own special someone to give it to. Mocha has lived with other cats and kittens and is great with them. He is hoping that a bad start means a happy ending. Are you the family that will make Mocha’s wish come true?

PURRCY

DSH Grey & White, Male

DOB 3/1/11
Purrcy: My name says it all - I believe in purring! I believe in letting you know just how much you mean to me and how grateful I am to be out of the shelter where I stayed for so long. I did everything I could to attract attention and let people know I was gentle and sweet and loving, but alas, nothing worked, until that magical day when I was chosen! That was the very best day of my life so far, but the day I'm waiting and hoping for is the one where someone comes along and knows that we were meant to be together forever. I'm offering unconditional love, hugs, kisses, and face rubs; I'll sing you to sleep with my purrs and kiss you awake with my rough tongue. I'll keep you warm day and night, and make you laugh when I play. I'll be wonderful with your kids, your other cats, and your dogs. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to work my way into your heart, and since I have so much love to give, I'm looking for someone to give it to pretty quick. I've heard that some kitties have their own special people who love and care for them forever, and that's my kitty dream. Are you a dream maker? Can you help me make my dreams come true?

HERSHEY

American Shorthair Mix Brown Tabby, Male

DOB 8/12/11
I am a lover boy who is looking for someone who wants a lap kitty who is a couch potato that purrs! I love laps, and all I ask is for some belly rubs. I like the two dogs and cats at my foster home, so I’m willing to share space and attention. I am about 8 months old, not a big kitty at all (I won’t weight you down when I cuddle on your lap), and I am not the least bit interested in being outside. I do like looking out the window and listening to sounds, but I was abandoned outside and I had to search long and hard to find someone who would let me in and give me a second chance. I would make a great kitty for anyone who wants a loving forever friend. If you want a loyal companion, best friend, and world-class cuddler, I just might be your guy.

JELLYBEAN

DSH Black & White Tuxedo, Male

DOB 2/13/12
Hi, my name is Jellybean and I’m a silly cat with a silly name! But just like candy jellybeans, I am very sweet and everyone loves me! And you’ll know why when you meet me. I love to make people laugh and it’s hard to resist the show I put on with my antics. Of course I have great fun entertaining people, but the part I really love is when they pick me up and give me kisses and hugs! I am very courageous and not much scares me, but I do worry at times that I will not have a family of my very own. All of the other kittens in my kitty family have found forever homes, but I’m still waiting. If you take me home, I promise to give you a lifetime of laughs, purrs, and love.

AUSTIN

DSH Brown Tabby, Male

DOB 3/5/12
Austin is a male tabby with distinct stripes of black and cream. He has an adorable little face with long whiskers and big eyes. Austin has a very positive attitude to life with a happy go lucky personality that extends to other cats and anyone that will cuddle him. When he isn’t running around and fighting with his toy mice, Austin loves to be cradled in your arms so that he can pat your face with his paws, there he will fall asleep on his back with not a care in the world. Austin is very responsive to your face and loves for you to talk to him. This positive and aware personality makes Austin the kind of kitten that would fit into any kind of loving home.

DYANNA

Russian Blue Cross, Female

DOB 6/2011
Dyanna is a love!  She adores people and loves to be petted and cuddled.  She is definitely a "socialite" and dresses up in her gorgeous fur coat everyday - all the better to "wow" her admirers!  Dyanna was rescued from a high kill shelter, and she worked her magic on us.  Reaching a paw through the bars of her cage, making eye contact, talking piteously and telling us just how good she would be if we would take her, so of course we did!
Dyanna loves to in your lap, near your side, touching you, and just being wherever you are.  She is a perfect companion for someone who craves togetherness and wants to be loved unconditionally.  Her Russian Blue heritage can be seen in her luxurious coat, bright green eyes, and her loving personality.  She's still a kitten so she also loves to play and be silly.  Life is looking up for this beauty, but there is one more step - a home of her home with someone who adores her and that she can focus all her love and attention on.

ISAAC

Russian Blue, Male

DOB 7/2010
Isaac is a Romeo - and a very handsome one at that! He is a lover and and adores people and attention. He wants to be with you and near you, and he is definitely a people cat. He is fine with other cats once he gets used to them, but he does better with female cats. Other big boys seem to trigger his "macho." Isaac is a big boy, and once he fills out, he is going to be majestic. His fur is a beautiful blue/gray, testament to his Russian Blue Heritage, and his eyes are a sparkling green. He will walk beside you like a dog, makes intense eye contact, and is athletic and graceful like a leopard. He is fine with dogs once he gets used to them, and kids are great. He is such a loving and affectionate cat, we can't imagine a home and family he won't fit into. One person to love and be devoted to, or a family to love and cherish - Isaac just wants to be someone's special kitty forever.
